Data Deletion Instructions

You have multiple ways to remove your data from Social Magnum:

Option 1 — Remove the App from Facebook (Instant)

1. Go to Facebook Settings → Business Integrations
2. Find Social Magnum
3. Click View and Edit → scroll down → Remove
4. Confirm removal

When you remove the app, Facebook notifies us via a deauthorize callback. We automatically invalidate all stored tokens for your connected pages. Your page connection data is soft-deleted and fully purged within 30 days.

Option 2 — Disconnect Individual Pages (In-App)

1. Log into Social Magnum
2. Go to Connected Pages
3. Click the trash icon on any page you want to disconnect
4. For soft-disconnected pages, click the trash icon again to permanently delete

Permanent deletion removes the page record, all associated scheduled posts, and cached analytics data. This action cannot be undone.

Option 3 — Request Full Account Deletion (Email)

To delete your entire account and all associated data, send an email to:

Include the following in your request:

• Subject line: "Data Deletion Request"
• The email address associated with your Social Magnum account
• Your name (for verification)

We will process your request within 30 days and confirm deletion via email.

Upon full account deletion, we remove:

• Your user account and profile information
• All connected page records and their encrypted access tokens
• All scheduled and historical post records
• All cached page analytics and monetization data
• All page assignment and team membership records
• Any media files still stored on our cloud infrastructure

• Posts already published to Facebook: Once content is published to your Facebook Page, it lives on Facebook's servers. Deleting data from Social Magnum does not remove posts from Facebook. Use Facebook directly to delete published posts.
• Facebook's own records: Facebook retains its own logs of API calls and permissions grants per their Privacy Policy.

When you remove Social Magnum from your Facebook Business Integrations, Facebook sends an automated callback to our servers. Our system:

1. Receives and verifies the signed request from Facebook
2. Identifies all pages connected via your Facebook account
3. Invalidates and clears all stored access tokens
4. Returns a confirmation code to Facebook for your records

No manual action is required on your part beyond removing the app in Facebook Settings.
